Mother’s Day is RIGHT around the corner, friends! I’m very proud to say the thing I’m known for most is curating a gift guide so this is the time of year I really come to life. I’ve made a gift guide for everyone on your list—the fancy one, the homebody hostess, the green thumb, the one obsessed with self care (or in need of it!) and the new mom.
I hope you find these lists to make gifting the woman in your life—the coworker, the sister, the mother, the grandma, the daughter, the daughter-in-law—as easy as can be! Always remember, though, that a gift that costs $0 and is given with intention and care is sometimes the most special gift of all.
Most of these are my tried and true favorites-especially the “new mothers” section. Happy Shopping, friends!
1. oil and vinegar 2. favorite luxurious bouquet 3. non-alcoholic sparkling rose 4. dutch oven 5. personalized frame 6. my favorite non-toxic candle 7. amber lewis design book 8. my favorite blanket I gift to everyone 9. decorative bowl 10. frames to fill with black and white photos 11. handmade pinch mug
This is certainly my department. If you have a friend, spouse or loved one who loves to host, loves to be home or loves to make things beautiful–this is your section. The bouquet is truly my favorite to receive because the roses transform like no other bouquet I’ve ever gotten over the years. If you have a friend working to consume less alcohol or who isn’t a fan, the sparkling non-alcoholic rose is a very thoughtful gift. The blanket and candle are things I use constantly in my own home because they’re my very favorite things and the frames left empty or gifted with black and white photos to a wife or grandma might be my favorite thing on the list.
1. caddy to fill with goodies 2. pop-up stationery 3. secret garden simple syrup 4. pollinator seeds 5. gardening hunter wellies 6. leather handle market backpack 7. gardening watercolor kit 8. gardening gloves 9. double lid picnic basket 10. marbled glass vase
You know her, you love her. The green thumb. She considers her plants her babies and thinks about her garden as often as her children. This also might be for someone who has wanted to start their own garden for a while and is still learning. I myself have my eye on the market backpack for farmers market trips and that gorgeous marbled pink vase. Consider gifting along with a potted plant.
1. birth month flower + momma necklace 2. mama hat 3. instacart gift card for the best gift of all: grocery delivery 4. handmade ceramic mug 5. the pajamas I gift to every new mom and stock up on myself during every pregnancy…they’re buttery and magical 6. mom milestones book 7. heating or cooling eye mask and neck wrap kit 8. the first forty days instruction book for new mothers 9. mama candle
This could be a mom who is pregnant, a mom going through the adoption process, a mom of a new foster baby, a mom in the newborn phase for the first time or the eighth time. We all need a little extra love and support in those early days and I’d be thrilled to receive any one of these things. Trader Joes flowers and a bag of good coffee pair wonderfully with the mug, matches and a few bath bombs are a lovely partner for the candle and a little starbucks giftcard inside the hat for a coffee-run on you would work wonders.
1.beginner crochet kit 2. weighted blanket 3. tea kit 4. jeni’s ice cream 5. facial steamer 6. soothing milk bath 7. tenoverten nail polish 8. weighted eye mask for perfect sleep 9. cooling derma-globes for an at-home facial experience 10. dreamy bubble bath 11. heatless curls silk hair wrap
You know and love this girl. She loves her bath/shower routine. She strolls through the candle aisle more frequently than any woman needs to. Maybe she’s already super great at relaxing and pampering herself or maybe this is a woman in a season where she WON’T relax and pamper herself, but desperately needs to. Give her the nudge. My favorite Amazon slippers (on sale for $17!) make the perfect partner for the bubble bath and your favorite face mask is amazing with the facial steamer. If you know someone has had a hard time getting enough rest, the weighted eye mask and their favorite tea from the grocery store would be super thoughtful.
