It’s our last Spring in Virginia and honestly, I think the whole state is punishing us with unpredictable weather. Within a few days, we had sunshine and sundress weather, full on snow gear weather and light jacket weather. And thats okay! It was the last big tantrum of winter so now let’s make it official. Spring is here.
Duster: old Zara, similar here. Top: (nearly sold out, more linked below) Madewell. Jeans: Mother. Shoes: Sam Edelman. Purse: (my favorite purse six years running) Proenza Schouler -also here
I’m packing away the majority of my sweaters because honestly, I just can’t even look at them until late Fall at this point, and the coats are going to. I’ve decided its time, guys. It’s time for Spring tops. Loose, flowy and floral are the features I look for when picking up new tops this time of year. After a long winter of bulky and stiff, all of these options are so dreamy:
This trench is the perfect compliment to every outfit from a t-shirt and overalls to a little black dress. I get the most use out of my trench coats this time of year for this exact reason- of course April showers bring May flowers, but also late march brings my refusal for weather appropriate outfits so in comes the loyal trench to save the day.
I also just have to say, these shoes are the most comfortable sandals of all time. With size 12 feet, it’s rare I have an option this beautiful and comfortable that actually fits me. When miracles like this happen, I always get two colors! (The nude is equally wonderful.)
