You guys asked to see what I actually wear in day to day life and I’m so happy to introduce the first edition of the Weekend Notes. For the next four weeks, I’m going to share what I actually wore this week on the blog. I’m vowing to keep it real (I may move away from the iPhone mirror shot but for now, that’s holding me accountable!) which means some weeks has a whole lot of athleisure thrown in there. A little bonus: at the end of each post, I’ll answer the top 3 questions asked that week via social media and email. After one month I’ll evaluate based on page views and feedback to see if this is something I’ll do long term. Ready. Set. Go! I take these photos in the morning and sometimes change in the evening if I have a meeting or am running somewhere I’ll sometimes end up changing but those outfits aren’t included. This is why it looks like I’m heading to the gym every day (spoiler alert…I only worked out two times this week.)
Monday:
pullover: old Lululemon (similar). leggings: old Lilybod (similar here and here.) sneakers: Adidas.
Tuesday:
shirt: old Aritzia (same from this post) pants: The Great. (I wear these twice a week minimim! his color is sold out-the rust color is on sale here) shoes: old (identical here)
Wednesday:
pullover: Alo. leggings: Lululemon (favorite hands down ever.) shoes: Adidas. headphones: B&O.
Thursday:
jacket: extremely old. (similar here.) tee: Adidas. leggings: my tried and true Lululemon pair. shoes: Adidas.
Friday: (an outfit out in the wild!)
top: H&M jeans: Mother. shoes: old Treasure & Bond. (similar here)
Saturday:
I got this pajamas set last winter and as many of you know, I wore it non.stop. It’s now sold out in this color but they just released it in stripes!
Most Common Q&A’s This Week:
“What recipe do you use for your coconut rice?” I use this recipe and it’s perfect every single time! O has a sweet tooth and we count this rice as a treat so I always add more coconut sugar. I don’t eat rice but this gets a rave review every time from my entire crew.
“What is your favorite double stroller?” I go super in depth in this Q&A post and have every favorite attachment and reasoning there!
“What is that song playing in the background that sounds like kids saying scripture?” The Catechism we listen to most mornings is on this album by Diana Beach Batarseh. It’s been so helpful over the years and is no longer part of our daily routine but just about!
