My mirror-selfie game was weak this past week but here are 5 outfits from the past 7 days nonetheless! It included the typical stuff like school drop offs, homeschool, workouts and mom life but I also had a visit from a friend, a sisters night and a pumpkin-patch family day. Let’s dive in!
Monday:
sweater: Free People. jeans: Citizens of Humanity. slippers: old Target (identical for $18 here)
(you guys all know this is the season I wear this sweater multiple times a week without fail…it’s the softest, coziest, best sweater ever of all time. They recommend sizing down but I love it oversized.)
Tuesday:
dress: old Zara. (similar here) sneakers: Veja.
Wednesday:
pullover: Lululemon. (similar here) leggings: Lululemon.
Thursday:
sweater: Free People. (I told you I tend to wear it multiple times a week…) pants: The Great. shoes: old Vince Camuto (similar here)
Friday (even though you can hardly see me, just take my word for it):
sweater: old Madewell (similar here.) top: H&M. jeans: Mother. (I just found all the washes in stock here– they’ve been sold out for months) sneakers: Veja.
Q & A:
What is your favorite vegan cheese? Violife is the one we keep in the house!
What is your favorite chili recipe? If you’re vegan or plant based, this is the one I make for O and the kids. It’s made with lentils and while I don’t currently tolerate lentils, I used to eat it in the past and it’s so, so good. If you eat meat, this is my favorite chili ever. I make it for friends most often and I don’t tolerate beans but I scoop out my portion before adding them in at the end. It’s a slow cooker recipe so I do all the work in the morning and dinner is ready after the hustle and bustle of the day-my very favorite. O and the kids eat it with cornbread, cheese, vegan sour cream, avocado and corn chips if I’m feeling extra.
Where are your favorite places to shop for your kids? I have a full post on this (fall favorites for littles) but I did talk about their style and shared my picks for this season, especially for school, in this post here. For the bulk of their closet, I want to know the items are inexpensive and yet still good quality. My favorites for that are H&M, Old Navy, Gap when they have a sale going (almost always so never purchase full price evvveer), Zara and Target.
