Hi friends! Happy Friday! What a whirlwind week it was. Between daylight savings and wrapping up a new project, the days seemed to fly by. I’m working with a deadline for the first time since college and I’ve gotta say, that feeling is not my favorite.
Am I the only one that will be fully and completely thrilled for an opportunity and suddenly doubt everything once it comes? Few things reveal my own insecurity like a project I feel I should thrive in. That confidence at the start always guarantees a humbling surrender to change my perspective and remind me in my own strength, I am nothing. In the strength of my maker, I can do all things!
It’s supposed to be a bit of a chilly weekend but we’re still going to maximize it and head into the city for some good ol’ fashioned exploring. So many Smithsonians to see, so little time! The babes are at such a fun age of curiosity and I plan on taking advantage of these years before all they want to do is nap and eat. Ahh, the good ol’ days.
I told you last week I’d report back on this recipe and GUYS. It’s fantastic! My kids devoured it, O couldn’t get enough of it and I was getting “one last bite” for the entire evening. It’s so delicious, in fact, that I’m making it again this weekend. That good. I’m so thankful sweet Mara posted about it in her Instastories because it’s definitely a new favorite for me!
Here are a couple things to head into the weekend with:
How sweet would this be as Easter baskets for your kiddos? I’d use it to display sweet toys in the nursery after the last peep is eaten and the final easter egg is found. It’s so beautiful and would be a precious thing to pass down too.
I dedicated the majority of last week to updating some of my Shop pages!
The Momiform page is full of beautiful essentials for everyday life as a mom. Think pretty joggers, cool sneakers, interesting tees and no-brainer dresses.
The Currently Craving shop is full of items I would definitely wear in the day-to-day as a stay at home mom, but they’re also more special for things like meetings, date nights and when you want to feel more dolled up.
And of course, my For the Littles Shop is my favorite. I am in a phase where I genuinely dream of being a personal shopper for moms (I actually do handle the seasonal shopping for my sweet nephew and it’s a DREAM) so curating this page makes me real life giddy.
What are your weekend plans? We’re halfway through March and I can’t wrap my head around it, but if that means I’m closer to feeling warm sunshine on my skin then so be it!
