Autumn Bucket List

It’s officially Fall, friends. There are two types of people: spring/summer people and fall/winter people. I am one hundred jabillion percent a fall/winter girl. Maybe it’s because I grew up in Chicago where fall seems to last a lifetime, maybe it’s because of all the holidays stacked up in a row. All I know is once my Magnolia Fall candle is crackling, the fleece sweaters are pulled out and soups are on the stove, I feel at home. We have a big trip back to California planned this Fall so I pray we get a little taste of crisp fall air. Without further adieu- here is our autumn bucket list:

  1. Make apple cider with the kids
  2. Practice gluten & refined sugar free fall treats
  3. Visit the pumpkin patch at the Arboretum
  4. Drive for a better view of the stars
  5. Carve pumpkins with the kids
  6. Find the perfect white and pink pumpkins for myself
  7. Go to our first Texas State Fair
  8. Go to a High School Football game (my dad is the coach at Trinity Christian. Go Trojans!)
  9. Go to a College football game (we’re headed to Stanford to cheer on O’s old team. Go Cardinal!)
  10. Find the perfect cozy sweater (confession: I’ve already found it. In two colors.)
  11. Make applesauce with the littles
  12. Play in the rain
  13. Watch Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin
  14. Go on a nature walk
  15. Make caramel for the kids to dip their apples in

What’s on your Autumn bucket list? I’m so excited I could burst. I pray I stay present enough to let this season last.
