It’s officially Fall, friends. There are two types of people: spring/summer people and fall/winter people. I am one hundred jabillion percent a fall/winter girl. Maybe it’s because I grew up in Chicago where fall seems to last a lifetime, maybe it’s because of all the holidays stacked up in a row. All I know is once my Magnolia Fall candle is crackling, the fleece sweaters are pulled out and soups are on the stove, I feel at home. We have a big trip back to California planned this Fall so I pray we get a little taste of crisp fall air. Without further adieu- here is our autumn bucket list:
- Make apple cider with the kids
- Practice gluten & refined sugar free fall treats
- Visit the pumpkin patch at the Arboretum
- Drive for a better view of the stars
- Carve pumpkins with the kids
- Find the perfect white and pink pumpkins for myself
- Go to our first Texas State Fair
- Go to a High School Football game (my dad is the coach at Trinity Christian. Go Trojans!)
- Go to a College football game (we’re headed to Stanford to cheer on O’s old team. Go Cardinal!)
- Find the perfect cozy sweater (confession: I’ve already found it. In two colors.)
- Make applesauce with the littles
- Play in the rain
- Watch Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin
- Go on a nature walk
- Make caramel for the kids to dip their apples in
What’s on your Autumn bucket list? I’m so excited I could burst. I pray I stay present enough to let this season last.
Favorite fall activities: watch boxing and play video games! That’s all that is on my list
