Trench + Spring Top

It’s our last Spring in Virginia and honestly, I think the whole state is punishing us with unpredictable weather. Within a few days, we had sunshine and sundress weather, full on snow gear weather and light jacket weather. And thats okay! It was the last big tantrum of winter so now let’s make it official. Spring is here.

Light Winter Layers

Once Thanksgiving passes, it’s pretty hard for me to not wear a sweater, scarf, and coat every day in the name of being festive. It was absolutely freezing here a few weeks ago but it looks like we’ve got a stretch of pretty mild weather…which means unless I want to really put my deodorant to work, I need to chill out on the heavy layers and stick to light ones instead. This jumpsuit and turtleneck are both on SALE for one last day today before going back to full price tomorrow!!

Transitioning Summer Tops to Fall

I don’t know about you, but whenever springtime hits, I get one look at all the white eyelet tops and that’s pretty much all I want to wear straight through summer. Nothing is easier to throw on in those warm months than a sweet white top and since the tops tend to have a bit of detail, even when paired with something as simple as jean shorts I still feel put together.

Farmers Market with the Littles

One of my favorite things about living in Virginia is being surrounded by so many farms. We have more Farmers Markets than I’ve ever seen right here in our own backyard and I’m telling you, I may never need to take my offspring to Disney World after seeing how they light up at the opportunity to gather fresh produce into crates and baskets.
