Camoflauge makes me feel some type of way. I don’t know what it is but it’s part cool and part nineties nostalgia but i’ve never gotten over it. I picked up this jacket in a vintage store while killing time in New York, but I’m thrilled to say camo is making a huge comeback this fall!Even while the whole world laughed at this timeless print thanks to ‘Duck Dynasty’ and such, I never lost hope, friends. Show of hands for anyone else who never gave up on it in the first place? (Am I raising my hand alone?)
Can I say that yet? Fall? If you live in Texas you’re giving me a hard ‘No’ but September always means Fall to me! And friends, September is just three days away. If you were to look in my closet, you might think I have somewhat of a uniform. And you’d be right. I feel my absolute best in neutrals and think they’re the most practical on the bang for your buck scale, but also take the guess work out of getting dressed. Sometimes though, just sometimes, I’m drawn to something beautiful and bright and yellow for Autumn just feels right.
Sometimes you just need to answer all the questions in one place, you know?! I’m rounding up the images I’ve received the most DM’s or emails about to share the details in this post.
It’s our last Spring in Virginia and honestly, I think the whole state is punishing us with unpredictable weather. Within a few days, we had sunshine and sundress weather, full on snow gear weather and light jacket weather. And thats okay! It was the last big tantrum of winter so now let’s make it official. Spring is here.
Once Thanksgiving passes, it’s pretty hard for me to not wear a sweater, scarf, and coat every day in the name of being festive. It was absolutely freezing here a few weeks ago but it looks like we’ve got a stretch of pretty mild weather…which means unless I want to really put my deodorant to work, I need to chill out on the heavy layers and stick to light ones instead. This jumpsuit and turtleneck are both on SALE for one last day today before going back to full price tomorrow!!
Throwing on a sweater dress and tall boots is one of Fall’s greatest gifts- bonus points if I can wear the same color head to toe.
